About us

The All England Lawn Tennis Club Community Tennis Centre is a privately-owned site located in Raynes Park, South West London. It is owned by the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) and is 3.5 miles from Centre Court, Wimbledon.

The AELTC acquired the 22-acre site in 1990. Over the years the site has been used to support The Championships through the provision of six grass courts and was also used by local schools for athletics, football and cricket.

In 2016 the Club redeveloped the grounds, constructing six acrylic courts, three of which were covered by an inflatable airdome. In June 2016 the new facilities were opened by AELTC Chairman, Philip Brook, Sir Andy Murray, Jamie Murray OBE, Tim Henman OBE and Jordanne Whiley MBE.

In 2019 a second phase of development began, with the addition of a further three indoor acrylic courts in a second airdome, sixteen Championship grass courts, a maintenance building for the Grounds team and equipment and an additional entrance on Cannon Hill Lane to be used for deliveries and staff access.

The final phase of the development works was completed in 2024 and now includes a two-storey clubhouse, new entrance with extended car parking facilities, a junior tennis play area with ancillary buildings and bleacher seating by the outdoor courts.
