First Annual Spooky Festival Hits a Frighteningly Fun Note for our Junior Players and Parents

October 31st brought thrills and chills as the community gathered for the first-ever Spooky Festival, hosted under a moonlit sky by our team. More than 100 ghouls, goblins, and their families crept onto the courts for an evening packed with eerie entertainment.

This haunted celebration invited kids to come dressed as their favorite creatures, whether frightful or fanciful. The highlight? A "boo-tiful" game of tennis, where players in costumes lobbed and rallied their way to victory. Between rounds of ghostly tennis, families enjoyed classic Halloween activities like apple bobbing and a “Pin the Nose on the Witch” contest, which drew plenty of laughter (and a few crooked noses!).

The evening’s crowd-pleaser, however, was the monster-mash musical chairs. With zombies, witches, and even a few little princesses battling for the final seat, this ghoulish game left spectators howling with delight.

The turnout was nothing short of fang-tastic, with parents and children alike already looking forward to next year’s haunt. According to one parent, “It was a scream! My kids had a blast, and we can’t wait for the next one.”

As the event wrapped up, the night ended on a high note—with satisfied families, tons of treats, and plans to make next year’s festival even more spine-tinglingly memorable.
