Rules for Safe Play: Covid-19 Protocols at the CSG

RULES FOR SAFE PLAY


We are pleased to announce that coaching has resumed at the Community Sports Ground. There will however be restrictions in place to adhere with the Government and LTA guidelines surrounding tennis and workplace health & safety.
Please do not leave your home to play tennis if Government advice means you should stay at home, or you are in the clinically extremely vulnerable category and have been advised to shield from the coronavirus. As the guidelines from the Government and the LTA evolve, we will continue to adapt our own guidelines. Please continue to check the CSG website for the latest guidance.


Arrival & Departure
▪ Do not arrive too early for your session. If early, please remain in your car until 5 minutes before the booking commences
▪ Avoid using public transport if possible
▪ Upon arrival at the gate, please drive slowly and do not lower your car window
▪ Please show your CSG membership card to the security officer on the gate to identify yourself – the guard will cross check your details
▪ When parking – please do not park close to other vehicles
▪ Please use the hand sanitiser upon arrival
▪ Please always observe social distance and remain 2m apart from each other
▪ Please be vigilant to the signage and directions – and follow the one-way route around the site
▪ Ensure you take all your belongings with you at the end of the session and do not leave anything on court
▪ Avoid congregating on or around the court after playing to allow access for others
▪ When your session is complete, please follow the one-way route to the car park
▪ On departure please use hand sanitiser
▪ Please use the one-way route to access the entrance of the domes and queue using the social distancing floor markers
▪ Players will be instructed by coaches when to enter the revolving doors (using foot or elbow)
▪ Sanitise your hands on both side of the revolving door

 

Drop-off and collection of Junior players

▪ Parents/guardians will unfortunately not be allowed into the dome to spectate

▪ Please respect the limit of one parent/guardian attending the setting to drop off your player

▪ Please use the one-way route to access the entrance of the domes and queue using the social distancing floor markers to drop off your player at the entrance
▪ Players will be instructed by coaches when to enter the revolving doors (using foot or elbow)
▪ Sanitise your hands on both side of the revolving door

▪ Parents/guardians must stay on premises during the session (outside by the running track or in car)

▪ Parents/guardians will be asked to collect their players on the running track by Dome 1 (courts 4-6) after sessions and to the side of the entrance to Dome 2 (courts 7-9)

Playing

▪ Always maintain 2m distancing with coaches and other players
▪ Please bring your own water bottle - the water fountains are out of use
▪ Only take the minimum amount of equipment with you that you need to play and bring your own racket
▪ Please follow the instructions given by your coach when playing
▪ Clean and wipe down your equipment, including racquets and water bottles before and after use
▪ There is no access to the communal spaces on site including changing rooms, toilets and breakout area


We would also like to remind all players that should they experience any symptoms of COVID-19, they should stay away from the Community Sports Ground for the required 14-day isolation period as set out by the Government.

If you experience any symptoms after playing, then you should contact us as soon as possible so that we can help with any contact tracing measures required.
