CTC Development Works Update

Works on site are continuing well and with tarmac being laid to the road and parking bays this should naturally lead to less dusty conditions. Drainage works are underway throughout the site and the final concrete slab pours to the courtyard buildings are being carried out. Works to the clubhouse are moving forwards with concrete walls and columns continuing to be built. The structure of the building is becoming more apparent each day. We continue to appreciate your patience and understanding.

Below is an update to our current works and activities due to be carried out in the coming weeks.

Current activities week commencing 3 May

- Block paving to the parking bays adjacent to the newly laid road. There will be some noisy works associated to this due to the machinery used to compact the blocks once they have been laid. This is likely to continue for the next two weeks.

- Kerb laying to the remainder of the road and car parking area, this is likely to continue for the next week or two.

- Drainage laying to new junior tennis courts.

- Concrete shuttering and pouring to walls and columns to the clubhouse.

- General muck away of material and importing of concrete and stone. This means there will be continued lorry movement in and out of the building site, which is likely to continue until the end of May.

Forthcoming activities week commencing 9 May

- Formwork and shuttering installation to the clubhouse first floor slab.

- Preparation works for the steel frame and glu-lam beam framework in the courtyard building.

- Trench excavation for the installation of utilities and electrical ducting.

To help maintain progress we will be continuing with our Saturday working. In the next period we will be commencing with block paving and the continuation of the reinforced concrete frame formworks. We will be striving to keep any noise and disturbance, especially on these Saturdays, down to an absolute minimum. However there will be no work on site this forthcoming bank holiday weekend.
