Table Tennis
Table tennis, also known as ping pong, is a fast-paced sport that combines skill, strategy, and quick reflexes. Played indoors on a table with lightweight paddles and a small ball, it can be enjoyed casually for fun or competitively for challenge. The game is suitable for all ages and abilities, helping players improve hand-eye coordination, concentration, and agility. Table tennis is a fantastic way to stay active and social.

Instructors:
Alison Broe (Gordon)
Alison is a Level 3 Licensed Coach with over 20 years of coaching experience and a strong reputation for developing players from grassroots to international level. She has previously worked as both a Regional and National Coach for Table Tennis England (formerly the English Table Tennis Association).
As a player, Alison represented England over 500 times on the international stage, competing in five World Championships and the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. She is a four-time National Senior Singles Champion and has won national titles at every age group from Under-14 through to Senior level.
Jane Barella
Jane is a Level 3 Licensed Coach with over 25 years of extensive coaching experience across all levels of the game. A former England representative who trained and played in Belgium, Jane brings a wealth of international insight to her coaching.
She has developed players from grassroots level through to international standard and continues to coach for England at international competitions. Jane has also served as both Regional and National Coach for Table Tennis England (formerly the English Table Tennis Association).
Currently, Jane is the Surrey Coaching Officer and Coordinator, as well as Head Coach at Graham Spicer Table Tennis Club — runner-up for Club of the Year 2025. In recognition of her outstanding contribution to the sport, she has previously been named National Coach of the Year.
