Our coaches bring a wealth of experience, from grassroots development to competitive tournament coaching, ensuring every session is engaging, safe and tailored to the players’ needs.
Paul Dent

Paul is an LTA Level 5 Performance Tennis Coach with 45 years of experience. He specialises in performance player development for players aged 11 to 18, with a strong focus on tactical and technical development, high-performance match analysis, and performance coaching psychology. Throughout his career, Paul has coached players who have competed at the u10 National Championships, Category 1 and Super Category u14 Tennis Europe events, Junior Wimbledon, and adult Futures tournaments.
Paul has an extensive background in international coaching, education and consultancy. He is the co-author of The Tennis Coach’s Toolkit, a sports psychology coaching resource containing over 700 practical coaching interventions used by the LTA, parts of which have been translated into Czech and Chinese and adopted by the Netherlands tennis federation. He also developed a practical workshop for LTA National Junior Coaches on developing effective and resilient match players, delivered a doubles training camp for the Estonian U14 National Team, and has worked as a consultant for the ITF across multiple missions at training centres in Morocco and Kenya. Additionally, he spent six weeks working privately for the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation on coach and player development.
Paul has been contracted by the ITF to accredit coaching certification programmes in Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands, and has represented the ITF in assessing and developing National Training Centres in France, Ireland, Kazakhstan and Belarus. He has presented at three ITF World Coaching Conferences and been a keynote speaker at regional workshops in South Africa, Malaysia and Mexico. He also served as Head Coach for the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation at their National Centre for two months. In the UK, Paul has managed and tutored on the LTA Level 5 Master Performance course, working closely with LTA National Training.
As a qualified ITF Level 2 and Level 3 tutor, Paul also created BIOMEC, the ITF’s technical analysis tool used within their coaching syllabus. He has delivered online mental performance workshops for the Finnish Tennis Association and developed content for the LTA’s Performance Coaching Principles Webinar Match Management – Teaching Coping Strategies.
Finlay Eaton

Finlay is an LTA Level 3 Tennis Coach with 9 years of coaching experience. Finlay coaches players of all ages and abilities, with a strong focus on creating inclusive, enjoyable and developmental sessions.
He has experience working with a wide range of players—from complete beginners to advanced competitors—and is passionate about supporting others on their tennis journey. Finlay’s current focus is on helping his players grow and perform at their best.
As a positive, friendly, and approachable coach, Finlay aims to create a welcoming environment where every player feels confident, supported and excited to return to the court. He is committed to continuous learning and future professional development as he progresses in his coaching career.
Will Fyall

Will is an LTA Level 3 Tennis Coach with 9 years of coaching experience. Will specialises in developing the technical and tactical aspects of the game for players of all ages and abilities, with a particular passion for doubles matchplay and helping players enhance their decision-making and on-court strategy.
Will has a strong competitive background, having represented Loughborough University in both BUCS and the National Premier League, as well as competing at regional and national level (Grade 3). He is also a regular hitter with world-ranked players, giving him valuable insights into high-performance play.
Will brings a professional, motivating and detail-focused approach to coaching, supporting players at every stage of their tennis journey.
Andy Low

Andy is an experienced LTA Level 3 tennis coach with 14 years of coaching expertise and a strong background in education, having previously worked as a PE teacher for 17 years. Andy specialises in coaching under 8s and tots tennis, creating fun, engaging and development-focused sessions designed to build strong fundamentals and a lifelong love for the sport.
His dedication to junior coaching and community tennis has been recognised through the Surrey Tennis President Award 2025, celebrating his commitment and positive impact within the tennis community.
Andy is passionate about supporting young players to learn, grow, and gain confidence on and off the court.
Darren Stanford

Darren is an LTA Level 4 Tennis Coach with 18 years of coaching experience. He specialises in school tennis, tots tennis and mini tennis across all stages (red, orange, green and yellow), as well as cardio tennis.
Darren has been part of the Wimbledon and WJTI (Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative) programme since 2001, initially as a player. At age 18, he earned his first coaching qualifications and has since built a dedicated coaching career. Today, Darren continues to coach within the Wimbledon pathway, supporting and developing the next generation of tennis players.
James Trayling

James is an LTA Level 4 Tennis Coach with 15 years of coaching experience, working with players of all ages and abilities. As a former county-level player who has competed in Grade 1 and Grade 2 tournaments, James brings strong competitive knowledge and practical match experience to his coaching.
James is passionate about making tennis enjoyable, engaging and accessible for everyone. His coaching philosophy centres on creating a fun environment while helping players learn to solve problems independently and develop confidence both on and off the court.
Individual Lessons
- Individual lessons are available for juniors and adults.
- Lessons can be booked for specific goals, such as technical improvement, match play preparation, or fitness development.

Booking Procedure:
- Contact the centre or book online to check availability with your preferred coach.
- Specify age, ability level, and focus area for the session.
- Lessons are priced per hour and can be paid at the time of booking.
- Sessions may take place indoors or outdoors, depending on availability and weather.
- Please note, availability for after school or weekend lessons is highly unlikely.
